Technology Lab
During all time slots marked with a * above, there will be staffed lab with equipment, laptops, and software that participants can visit to learn how to create their own videos for a flipped class. We encourage participants to create a short video segment for their own class, or containing a teaching tip or idea or experience with flipped classrooms that can be shared with others.
Notes
- All plenary sessions (marked in purple above) meet in Shanahan Teaching and Learning Center 1430 (auditorium). Workshop locations and descriptions are listed under "Workshop Abstracts" link in the left navigation bar.
- Lunch and dinner are provided on the first day of the conference. Lunch is provided on the second day of the conference. Participants should make their own arrangements for breakfast.
- Lightning Share-Outs are short (5-minute) presentations from participants about their favorite teaching tips and ideas. If you'd like to present one of these share-outs, please contact Darryl Yong at dyong@hmc.edu.
- Some of the sessions will be videotaped and may be distributed on the web after the conference. If you do not wish to be video taped, ask the person videotaping the session where you can sit so that you will not be in the video.
